DAY 01 HometownQBeijing

Starting your tour by taking deluxe flight to Beijing, cross the international date line.

DAY 02 Arriving in Beijing

Arrive in Beijing-the capital of China. Nexus Holidays tour guide greets you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.

DAY 03 Beijing

Beijing served as the capital of 5 dynasties over a period of 800 years with each emperor identified as a dragon sent from the heaven. Start your city tour with a visit to the Forbidden City. This complex, the largest and most intact conglomeration of ancient structures of the imperial palace ever built in the world, features more than 800 buildings with 9999 rooms, resplendent golden-glazed roofs, red lacquered pillars and vermilion walls. Next stop is the Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world, its monuments and buildings situated around the square’s perimeter. Then tour to the Temple of Heaven, which was used to offer sacrifices to heaven and pray for good harvest in ancient times. Enjoy the famous Peking Duck dinner in the evening.

DAY 04 Beijing

The highlight today is a trip to the astonishing Great Wall at Juyongguan Pass. The Great Wall is the most famous image of China throughout the world. It is the only man-made object visible from the moon, and as one of the Eight Wonders of the world. It is a symbol of Chinese traditional culture and the pride of the Chinese nation. Later visit the Sacred Path of Ming Tombs, 13 of the 16 Ming emperors have their tombs here. This is an attractive destination as much for the natural scenery of the area as for the tombs themselves. Visit the Cloisonne Factory and the biggest Jade Exhibition Center in Asia.Followed by a tricycle tour to the historic Hutong and Alley of Beijing old town, take in the sights and sounds of Beijing of olden times. Enjoy the famous acrobatic show in the evening.

DAY 05 Beijing

The Tour to the Summer Palace in the morning, the largest ancient preserved garden in China and a former summer resort for Emperors and the chosen few. Then visit Silk Carpet Factory. After lunch you will be transferred back to the hotel for your free time, dinner is on your own.

DAY 06 BeijingQXian

Fly to Xian in the morning, the first Chinese city to open up its doors to the ancient world during the Tang Dynasty as the first stop on the Silk Road. Over a period of more than 2000 years, Xian was the capital for eleven dynasties. Along with Rome and Constantinople, this city was a world leader in culture and trade and played a vital role in bridging the gap between east and west. Upon arrival visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses, the attached defending army to the first emperor of China, it is regarded as "the eighth wonder of the world" and among the top archaeological excavations of the 20th century. Enjoy the Dumpling Banquet dinner and Tang Dynasty Singing and Dancing Show in the evening.

DAY 07 Xian

Sightseeing the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum in the morning, after lunch visit the Ancient City Wall, it is not only the most complete city wall that has survived in China,but it’s also one of the largest and most complete ancient military defence systems in the world. Then tour to the Large Wild Goose Pagoda, the symbol of the city, it is said to have been built to house and protect Buddhist scriptures collected by the Chinese monk, Xuan Zang, the key figure in Journey to the West. The day will end with visit to the Porcelain Terra Cotta Warriors Factory.

DAY 08 XinanQChongqing--Three Gorges

Fly to the mountain city Chongqing in the morning, the birthplace of Ba and Yu culture with the history of 3000 years. Take the city tour upon arrival. Visit the Three Gorges Museum. After the hot pot dinner board the 5 star deluxe Yangtze River cruiser and start your venture tour on the Yangtze River. With a rich Chinese cultural heritage of thousands of years, the Three Gorges is not only a picturesque natural gallery, but also a spectacular treasure house.

DAY 09 Three Gorges

The cruiser sails downstream. Shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City or New City for Relocates. Fengdu Ghost City is located on the north bank of the Yangtze. A series of temples have been built here, each representing different aspects of hell according to Taoist belief. The temples are dominated by statues, frescos and carvings of the ghosts and devils who are believed to govern Taoist hell. Locals gather here to pray for a good afterlife and re-incarnation in their next life.

DAY 10 Three Gorges

Today the cruiser will sail into the Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. Although Qutang Gorge is the smallest among the Three Gorges, it is actually the most powerful one and the water here flows most rapidly at this spot. The Wu Gorge boasts the most immediately beautiful and spectacular scenery of the Three Gorges. Flanking the river is a series of green mountains with precipices and peaks where the water zigzags forward and gives way to some attractive scenery. Transfer to smaller boats to see the Shennongxi Stream. Then the cruiser will pass Badong, Zigui, and sail into the Xiling Gorge, which is renowned for being extremely perilous and is the longest one of the Three Gorges. The water is full of turbulent currents and whirlpools and dangerous shoals. The cruiser will pass the ship-lock of the Three Gorges Dam, and arrive at Sandouping in the evening.

DAY 11 Three Gorges

Shore excursion to visit the Three Gorges Dam, the largest project of China in the morning. Then the cruiser will pass the ship-lock of the Gezhou Dam at noon.

DAY 12 Three Gorges

The cruiser arrives the destination Wuhan at noon. Visit the Yellow Crane Pavilion, you will have a bird’s eye view of Wuhan City and the Yangtze River. Fly to Hangzhou late afternoon.

DAY 13 HangzhouvSuzhou

Nanjing Hangzhou is a city with a rich history and culture. Marco Polo described this place as "the most beautiful and magnificent city in the world". Take the boat cruise on the magnificent West Lake, the symbol of the city and crammed full of interesting sights, visit the Yellow Dragon Cave, taste the well-known Dragon Well Tea at the No.1 tea plantation. Take coach to Suzhou in the afternoon.

DAY 14 SuzhouvShanghai

Hangzhou Suzhou has been praised as the "Paradise on the Earth" since ancient times and is an extraordinarily delicate and elegant city. Known as "Venice of the East", Suzhou is built around Grand Canal. The city’s many excellent classical gardens have entitled Suzhou the "Garden City". Our sightseeing includes the Tiger Hill, Garden of the Master of the Nets, boat cruise on the Grand Canal. Travel by motor coach to Shanghai-the largest commercial and financial center of China after enjoying the Silk Fashion Show. After dinner you may take optional tour, the night cruise on the Huangpu River at your own expense(¥150 RMB).

DAY 15 Shanghai

Nanjing Stroll the Nanjing Road and the Bund (Wai Tan) waterfront area, a sweeping area along the Huangpu River, where used to be foreign concessions and now is the symbol of modern Shanghai. Here is the best place to capture the western influence of the old days. Visit the Yuyuan Garden and the Old City Temple,and tour the Freshwater Pearls Exhibition Center, Enjoy the afternoon at leisure, and dinner will be on your own .

DAY 16 ShanghaiQHometown

Tour guide will transfer you to the airport and home your sweet home.
